That happens when you have exceeded the amount of band width your links have for I believe it is a day.  If this is the first time this has happened, the suspension will end twenty four hours after it began.  If this has happened more than once, the suspension will be longer, perhaps two days, I’m not sure.

I don’t think you can share files, though I haven’t checked.  You may have to share a folder with specific people.  If you want to do that, I’ll look at the dialog again and tell you how.  But if you want to share it with more than one person, I’m not sure of the syntax.  Someone else may know.

but since your links are suspended, you are sharing them with too many people or what you are sharing is so large that not as many people who download it using your link or links are exceeding your bandwidth.  You may want to get a paid account, which gives you much more data allowance or you may want to use a sharing service such as We Transfer or another one I’d have to check the name of.  I can discuss those services more if you wish..

Anybody know how to create sharable link using dropbox? I can access
share option from its context menu, but in the dialog appears next, I
can't activate any of those button using Jaws.

Reading archive.org Protected Books On the Iphone

Ron Canazzi

Hello Group,

I have set up my account on archive.org and I have set up my computer by downloading Adobe Digital Edition to read books on my computer.  I would also like to have the ability to use my iPhone for archive.org protected books. I set up my account on the iPhone for archive.org.  I installed the Apple version of Adobe Digital Edition on the iPhone. However, this program does not seem to work well with the downloaded books. i can't get past the opening screen for a book on the iPhone. Is there any way of using the iPhone with protected books from archive.org? Is there another program for the iPhone that works to read these types of books?

Thanks for any help.

Hi Kerry,

I finally got to a place that cycles you through Auto, USB and bluetooth. But when I highlight bluetooth and connect, then my Braille display goes away even though the phone shows as being connected.

When I first got the machine, I stumbled upon terminal mode and was able to connect. But this was strictly by accident.

Thanks for your help.

I don’t know just what you are seeing.  First, make sure you have downloaded the entire file.  There is a 0 at the end of the link.  Such links from Dropbox should have the 0 changed to a 1 before they are followed.  When you paste the link into the browser’s address bar, the 0 should be changed to a 1 before pressing enter on the address.  Don’t just follow the link from the e-mail.

When people send such links, they should change it themselves but if they don’t, you can do so yourself.

Whatever you see, the last item  in the manual appears to be the warranty.  I don’t appear to see 20 ppages either but it appears that the entire manual is there.

Yes,that is what I am using.  This manual is working fine on the phone.  Tomorrow I am going to Humanware's site to find the latest manual because this one is for the older Brailliant.  and the layout has changed a bit in the newer one.  Not enough to be a problem and it sure helps for tonight.

It sounds as though you are using Adobe.  I don’t know if there is a problem reading the file in that program.  I use Edge for reading PDF files because it is much more efficient in opening documents.

I don’t read many PDF documents but I’ve seen a number of people saying that they find Edge to be betterk than what they were using.  I haven’t done a meaningful comparison between other browsers and Edge but these days, it is standard for at least Windows browsers, I don’t know about others, to read PDF documents.

I downloaded it but it says there are 20 pages but it will not go passed the first part with where it was downloaded from.  I have tried with control page down and all I can think of but that is all I see.

I did change the 0 to a 1, and tried downloading it again with the same results.  I never have this problem with PDF files.  I'll try it on my iPhone.

After checking more, there are 20 pages.  I looked at the file with Edge and I didn’t know how to see the number of pages until now.  I had never paid any real attention to how to find out in Edge.  Now that I know, I can confirm that there are 20 pages.  The last page, and the page before have almost no content but the page count is correct.
