Others may like and know about other programs. I use Balabolka Porttable. I use portable programs where they are available and do what the nonportable versions do, or what I want them to do.

Re: Revisiting the Keurig single cup coffee maker

Yes, the coffee pod holder pops out and you can insert a reusable coffee pod. You need to know which type of machine you are using some do not take reusable coffee pods or require a specific type of reusable pod. Also make sure you get a good brand of reusable pod otherwise they can cause spillage in the machine. Sometimes when you buy the machine, they may already have a reusable coffee pod for regular coffee grounds but, if they do not, you can look on the box to see what types the machine uses. If any of you that use the Keurig coffee maker and have installed the

reusable coffee pod I would appreciate hearing from you.  Is it possible for

a blind person to install the reusable coffee pod.  Also, If the reusable

coffee pod is installed can the standard coffee pods still be used?  Thanks

for any and all info on this.

Re: Turn off Speech in jFW

Neat, I didn't know that. You actually have to set speech on demand before
the insert space capital S command will work, so if you want speech fully
disabled you have to execute 2 commands. Hopefully they will change this.

Here is an interesting article about the command we are discussing.
https://blog.freedomscientific.com/learn-more-do-more-new-features-in-jaws-t
oggle-jaws-sounds-in-speech-on-demand/
It has been modified in recent versions of JAWS and, at least in the current
version, you can completely stop speech using a variation, JAWS key space,
capital s. The original command does allow some speech, as you point out.
it didn't used to but it has in recent versions.

Hi. The speech on demand feature of jaws differs from the disable speech
command in NVDA. Speech on demand doesn't truly disable speech. I don't use
a braille display but it should be noted that if you implement say all mode
with insert down arrow, jaws will still speak even if you set jaws to speech
on demand.

Hi. I sent the file to four lists but only one person said they had trouble . Now I know what their problem is I've now re-uploaded it to Open Drive and included a streaming link as well as a download link.

I have a paid account with Send Space and with I.E. I have no problem downloading and in fact it is faster than using the Wizard unless you have a large amount to download and want to leave it unattended.

However with Chrome and despite having a Send Space paid account I get the verification screen and this is the case with Jaws and NVDA.

There are a lot of file sharing services around now but I don't share much stuff lately, not as much as I used to and at the moment if somebody has an issue with Send Space then Open Drive often sorts out the problem. Walter

I would suggest using something like we transfer. I'll find the link if you

been present on Send Space over the years. If you are using it for free,
you might get hacked advertising and have malware downloaded onto your
computer unless you use the context menu and use save as or save link as,
whatever your browser calls it to download without advertising. And We
Transfer doesn't lower download speed if yu use it for free.
