Re: Twitter Clients

Hi,
TWBlue and the Qube are still available, though whether they work or not is a different story. TWBlue hasn't had an update for over a year, and the Qube's last update was three years ago. Given how they're open source though, I wouldn't be surprised if they've been forked and maintained more regularly by others.
Cheers,
Damien.

You can disable this by asking brave to confirm the filename or location whenever a file is downloaded. I've done this under Download options in settings and consequently don't have this issue now.

The only times I've seen this is when the actual tabs where the download is triggered are not closed before exiting Brave, and where Brave is set to "Continue where you left off."  When it reopens that tab, it has no idea whether or not the download has been done before, so it will trigger again.

If you make a habit of closing any tab from which you've performed a download, or else going back a page or to another page, this should stop.

Heather,

You're asking some questions I can answer, and others that require more information.  There are certain PCs, and don't ask me how to predict which ones because I've never found the magic telltale, that tend to have System Protection turned off when Feature Updates are applied.   If that's the case, you will not have any restore points.  But, and this is in addition to the "turn off" situation, restore points are also intentionally removed when a Feature Update is applied, as they are no longer applicable to the refreshed version of Windows 10.   You can go to Control Panel, System, System Protection link and then check to see if it's turned on for your Windows drive.

Now, all of the above being said, System Protection has been very unreliable, always.  It's great if/when it works, but you should never, and I mean never, rely upon System Protection as anything beyond a convenience for rolling back the install of a driver or new program.  You need real backups if you're not taking them already.

I don't understand how your question about resetting your PC applies.  It has no connection to restore points.  Also, keep files means just that:  user data files.  If you use Reset you do lose all installed desktop apps (formerly known as installed programs) as well as store apps you may have installed.

What is it you're trying to fix?

I used to have one from royal tell time that i really liked, it had 4

What? why on earth are we reverting to analog? Why can't i find a good
digital watch anymore?

Using analog on a talking watch is just stupid unless the watch can
set itself and sync with the digital time which this one can't.

So with that rant having been written, anyone know where to find a
good talking watch? Preferably metal and with a round digital face.

And, no, i don't want a smart watch.

Thanks.

I have found the answer to my question.
1 I will henceforth use Brave (a Chrome derivative) rather than
Firefox to access any Google suite app. The below keyboard shortcuts

2 Alt+Shift+K opens a list of sheets and Alt+up/down arrow helps
navigate to the previous/next one directly.

I would truly appreciate your assistance with this.

Hi Sharon, if you're using Roboform as a password manager, I actually recommend LastPass. I've been using it for 3 years now and haven't had an issue with it. The only small thing is the password generator is a bit strange. That's OK, though since you can use an online generator, and bookmark it in your browser for whenever you need it again.

Perhaps something is set in a nonstandard way.  Or you may use something that causes such a message.  For example, do you have cookies set not to be allowed or do you use an ad blocker?  You shouldn't receive a message about settings needing to be changed if you are using standard settings.
