Video doctor visit question
Loy <loyrg2845@...>
I have a video doctor visit scheduled. I will be
using my laptop. in settings, I have given permission for my desktop apps to
have access to the camera. I will be using Google Chrome as my browser. Is this
all I need to have enabled to complete the visit? This will be my first time to
use the camera so I want to make sure I have everything setup correctly before
the scheduled visit.

Hi Brian,
Thank you, Thank you! For whatever reason
when I was selecting the, Open a specific page or set of pages, radio button it
wasn't sticking, but now I've got the setting to stay and Edge is now closing as
expected.

In Settings tab, navigate to the "On Startup" item, and check to see whether you have either the "Continue where you left off" or "Open a specific page or set of pages" radio button selected. If you have the former, when you exit Edge the next time you start it all tabs and windows that were open when you shut it down will open again. If the latter, all the pages you've listed will open, but it should all be in one window. There is no setting as there used to be in the past to control whether a link opens in the current tab, a new tab, or a new window, because all of this can be controlled at the time of link activation and the developer can set what they want as the default, but you have the power to override that by how you activate it. A straight activation will do whatever the developer set, and that's most often either opening in the current tab or opening in a new window. Hold down Control+Enter to force the link to open in a new tab in the same browser window you're in. Hold down Shift+Enter to force the link to open in a new browser window, separate from all other browser Windows. I would also encourage you, with any browser, to stop using ALT+F4 to exit it if you want to exit all windows it might have open in one fell swoop. ALT+F4 closes the window that is currently active, but if you have 10 Edge windows open it won't close the other 9. Using ALT+F,C when in Edge, closes Edge. Every window that Edge has open will close if you use ALT+F,C in any given Edge window that has focus. This works similarly in all Chromium-based browsers, though what comes after the ALT+F part varies. It's C in Edge, and X in Chrome & Brave & Vivaldi. MS Edge and Too Many Open Pages
Mike B
Hi All,
Running MS EDGE with the most current version of Windows 10
Pro and latest Jaws.
When I open Edge and then want to close it I have to press,
Alt + F4, several times to close Edge completely
It seems like any little thing I do opens a new screen, tab or
window. How or what do I need to change so I have only my Homepage
open when I open Edge?
And, when I press enter or shift + enter on a link, what
setting needs to be changed so only 1 tab, screen or window opens?
I know how to go back and close screens, but like I mentioned,
any little thing seems to open a new screen, tab or window.
Take care and stay safe. Mike. Sent from my

Trying to change log in email on facebook
Keith S
I am trying to change the log in email I use to
access my facebook account. I have added a new email to my accounta nd
verified it as mine, but the following instructions from the facebook help
center via the facebook page does not work:
To remove an email address: 1. Scroll to the bottom of Facebook and tap Settings & Privacy. 2. In the Account Settings section, tap Personal Information > Email Address. 3. Tap Remove next to the email you'd like to remove. 4. You may be asked to re-enter your Facebook password. Enter your password and tap Remove Email to confirm.
This is all done via a comptuer, not a smart phone, as the page states, so I am at a loss as to what to do, and we all know, no , actual people work at facebook...soooooo....

Hi All
Has anyone used the Yamaha AG06 Multipurpose 6-ch Mixer w/ USB Audio Interface? If so, how accessible do you find it? EG are all the controls nobs and buttons rather than a touch interface? Also is the cubis software that comes with it accessible or do you even need it?
Thanks Debbie

g melconian <gmelconian619@...>
I have it on a family member I pad, I have been playing With it ffor a few days now .the app looks very promising compared to near by explorer on line.we will se how well it develops and how much of the near by explorer on line code is in good maps explore. I don’t know why the app is called good maps explore but when its installed on the device the icon says explore instead. I would think that the app would have the same name once it was installed on the device. I think that will cause even more confusion, when more people have a chance to take for a test drive on either platform.

In the Apple app store the GoodMaps Explore is the one that is free

and for the visually impaired. After you download it the icon on your phone just lists the app as Explore. There is one listed as GoodMaps for 1.99 but it is not for the blind. I haven't had a chance to try it out very much yet but it seems like a good source of information. Thanks for the tip. Wendy

I understand that, but I’m talking about not seeing the messages.
Groups.io is the only one that allows you to see your messages with gmail.
Pam.
If you see your message on the bottom of a response, that tells you that
your messages are definitely reaching the list. I find it a slight irritation
but once I have seen a response, it no longer bothers me.
