What specific problems are you seeing? Windows 10 uses a weird
calculator layout I despise. There's an app out there called Old
Calculator that sort of brings back the Windows 7 feel, though it's

Hi Jim,

Here's hoping you would have some or the other way to fix this laptop
but in case you still have these issues here is whatrecommend.

Please backup your documentnts just in case. & then, click on start &
in the search box that comes up, type reset. . Once in the reset
dialogue box. choose the option that tells you wherein it tells you it
would reinstall your windows & you may loose all the programmes &
other data.

There it would also ask you if you would like to install windows
online or offline. I recommend you choose offline installation. incase
that fails choose online. For the online installation to work you
would need a fast & stable internet connection.

within no time you would be done.

In order to read all the screens that may be presented to you from
time to time during installation turn on narrator by pressing
CTRL+Windows+Enter. You may have to turn on Narrator more than once if
you realise it stopped in between which does at times, after the
computer reboots.

My opinion would be to do a totally fresh install of Windows 10,If you have

your office product key you should be able to download the program from the

Microsoft store to reinstall it. and you can redownload the JAWS versions
you have licenses for. Another option might be to reset Windows 10 and
choose to save your data, but with all the problems you are having there
must be some big time file corruption's, or hardware problems.

You can probably go way past El Capitán. I had a Mini from 2012 and could go to Catalina but not beyond. You should be able to go to Big Sur.


Now, as to adding storage, it's not economically worthwhile to take it to a tech shop to have the internal disk and memory upgraded, but you can certainly add more disk space with external devices connected to one of the USB ports.

I believe (but am not certain), that the SSD is soldered into the
motherboard.
Same goes for the RAM.
I don't own a mac so others will have to help here.

Well, yeah, it would be like changing time, just set with the hour one hour later. There may be a way to do just Daylight Savings. I think there is on the Victor Stream, but I just set mine like I'm setting the clock, only with the time, you just have to change the hour.

You can tell Alexa to increase the volume using percentages- Alexa volume up 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%...

Hi All,
 
Running the latest 20H2 ...868.  After this latest cumulative update to, 19042.868, my Windows Security icon no longer shows in the Notification Area / system tray.  The icon is turn on / set to show, but no go. 
 
Can someone tell me how to get the icon back in the Notification Area?  All input is greatly appreciated.  Thanks much.

Hi. If you are sitting with the echo in front of you the buttons are as follows. With the power cord away from you, the button with the dash on it,at the six o'clock position, is volume down. The button at the twelve o'clock position is volume up. The button at the nine o'clock position is to mute and unmute her Mic, and the button at the three o'clock position is a set up button.

Hello,  There is a button that you press in the settings that will say “day-light savings time” when pressed  (on and off).  I believe it is the one above the multiplication button.  It is in that row going up and down.

Today we are wondering about the Bose Connect app.  The last time I used the thing, it was reasonably accessible.  Today when I opened it, it wanted me to sign in or create an account.  I don't remember ever having to do that before, so I hit the skip button.  On the next page I found an about button and a Product carousel that when you clicked on it, took you to the Bose product page in Safari.  What happened and how do I get this thing to work?  Do I have to create an account?  That looked like it wasn't free.  Any ideas are welcome.  Thanks

But this appears to be two problems, that the volume is lower thanit should be and that the sound is muffled.

That being the case, and since suggestions haven't helped either problem, my question is how other audio sounds. If you play music, does it sound muffled and is the volume low? Do you have more than one unit and is this problem limited to one unit or common to all? When problems occur, the possibility that there is something wrong with a unit itself shouldn't be forgotten or overlooked when the kinds of settings or software suggestions don't help.

The proper command is:
Alexa: Volume UP.

Repeat this until the volume is at your desired level.

Similarly for lowering the volume say:
Alexa: volume down until you reach the desired level.
