Getting rid of blocked callers

Shelly Kane

Sharon:

I thought about this more and another idea came to mind.  When you are saying getting rid of blocked callers, do you mean people that are calling with no number and it's coming up blocked or no caller ID?  If that's the case, there is nothing you can do.

Shelly

I know that I'm late to this discussion but haven't been on the computer yet today.  In answer to your question about blocked callers, to my knowledge, when you block someone, they will remain blocked until you unblock them.  You can go into phone and I don't know the full process of doing this but you can see all of the people you have blocked when you click block calls and you can either leave them there or delete them.  When you delete them, you can get text and calls from them again.  Even when you do this, I doubt you would hear from them because depending on how long they have been blocked, they have probably given up trying to reach you.  I have a list of blocked calls and I haven't deleted any. There is no need to.  There is also no time limit of how long they will stay blocked.  They will not unblock themselves.  You will have to do that if you so wish.  I hope I have helped with this. Sorry, I am not tech savvy so I don't know all of the menus and detailed instructions because I don't do it that much.  I just know it's there.

What i mean is, do the blocked callers remain available to be unblocked,
and accumulate into a list in storage, or does the opportunity go away
after a certain amount of time and is forgotten?

I found a couple of models of things like dice and signature guides on  https://www.thingiverse.com/ but I thought there would be more of a community somewhere.  Maybe there is and I just haven't found it yet, but the response I've got to this message and on twitter etc, indicates that if there is, it mustn't be widely known about...

I figure there are things I can think of - such as guides, small tactile objects and so on, but I'm sure there are plenty more things I haven't even thought of, and others interested in the same thing (either people who are blind or have low vision, family members or people in the industry for their clients).

Are there any mailing lists, web pages, facebook groups etc dedicated to this aspect of 3d printing that anyone is aware of please?

Bonus points of course, for something which works with NVDA :)

I don’t believe there’s a way to send private messages through YouTube, just public comments. You should be able to contact the YouTuber through their other social media platforms in the descriptions of their video or in the about section on their channel.

There used to be a way to send private messages, but I haven’t been able to find it for years now- it would be great to have since I am a YouTuber, too (Live Accessible).  I believe they probably phased this feature out.

Hi,

This might not be a helpful email relating to getting help, until I can get some eyes.

I have this wireless printer, brother is all I remember. Stupid question since it’s the first time I have owned something like this.

When you take your laptop out of the home will I need to reconnect the printer or how do I print when returning home?

So, I bring this up, because when my laptop was in the shop, everything was cool. I went to try and print something today, nothing.

Lol, sorry. I have no clue if this came out right, but all I know it’s a wireless brother something rather printer. I can get more info when I have eyes, I just wanted to put my thoughts out here real quick.

Thanks.
