I hope it works but it sounds suspiciously to me like a hard drive failure.

I don't know anything about Kevin, but it appears he has a good reputation.

Do you save a lot of money and get a better computer from him than you would through someplace like Computers For the Blind? How does he support what he sells?

Ordinarily, I would never buy a computer from a private person for reasons I gave earlier. but if Kevin is reputable and supports what he sells adequately, that would be something people may want to know about as a possibility.

Hi Laz and Gene,
Kevin is the best and, if I need to, I’ll contact him to see what needs to be done.
I do have an idea how to reinstall Windows and will see what happens from there.

Sent from my iPhoneI just got a new computer. I was able to install Jaws.
But the other day, Narrator said that I needed to reinstall Windows 2010.
I even tried resetting the computer but to no avail. It looks like Windows
needs to be reinstalled.
Where can I find Windows 2010 and would I need to install it from some
sort of drive?
This whole thing is something I never expected to run into especially from
a new machine. Thanks. Oh, one more detail. I do remember performing a
Windows update before this happened.

Others who use Total Recorder may be able to tell you how to do what you want. If you are using a typical recording program, you can't do what you are describing unless you use two sound cards. But I believe Total recorder has the ability to directly encode a radio stream in whatever formats the program can encode. But that is a specialized feature.

Hello all, I've noticed that in windows settings, you can change the volume of individual apps, and mute ones you don't want to hear. I was wondering, is it possible to record the audio from certain apps in isolation, for example if you want to record a radio broadcast without your speech synthesizer? I've tried total recorder but can't get the hang of it. Thank you.

The interesting thing about your story is that the person corrected
something. If he was right, you made an error that he corrected. Whatever
he called it to be flippant, he still should have told you what he did and
what you did to cause the problem so you wouldn't do it and would know how
to correct it if you ever did it again, for some reason.

I don't know how many misclassifications you received. I can't answer the question. In my case, I didn't get many misclassifications, but the number dramatically went down after a time, maybee one or two months. Others can tell you a lot better than I can if they had enough misclassifications that they did this often. I didn't have enough to do it much.

The nice thing is that if you use the not spam button on a message, it is automatically placed in your inbox, thus saving you the work.

when a person or more likely their email provider, marks a message
from any groups.io group as spam it makes the situation worse for all
groups.io groups in that more and more email providers automatically
start marking messages from any groups.io groups as spam. This is why
groups.io will unsubscribe you and send you that message which should
make you aware of the situation.
one can easily avoid being unsubscribed from their groups.io groups by
checking their spam/junk folders daily and marking any messages from
any groups.io groups as not spam and sending itback to the in box
instead. Of course those of you who use email clients may need to do
this on the email provider's page and not just in your email client.
If all people would contact their email providers and let them know
that they subscribed to receive those messages and let them know to
just let one decide for oneself and determine which messages are spam,
things would run a lot smoother.
I hope that clears it up a bit.
