Re: gmail web interface remove all messages in a folder

Philip Hall <p.hall.eml1@...>

Hi.

Here is a method of removing all messages from a gmail account using the standard view.

I would appreciate if someone would try out the steps and let me know if I missed anything.

I created this using Jaws 18.

Good luck

1. Open your Gmail account and make sure you are in standard view.

2. press h until you get to labels
3. Press the letter b once to get to the more button.

4. Press enter twice.
The first time you press enter, jaws will say less.

Press enter one more time.
This should add additional links to the labels area.

5. Now, arrow down until jaws says
Trash.

6. Press enter to take you to the list of trash emails.

7. Press the letter t to jump to the table of trash messages.

8. Press up arrow to the empty trash button, or press
Shift b to move up to the empty trash button.

9. Press enter.
A new page will open asking you to
Confirm deleting messages

10. Press b to bring focus to the ok button or down arrow to the button.

Using jaws, for some reason, pressing enter or space on the ok button doesn't activate it.

11. If using jaws, turn off quick navigation keys by pressing
Jaws key + the letter z.

Press enter to activate the ok button.

You can now turn on quick navigation keys again by pressing
Jaws key + z.

All your messages will be deleted.

From Mack why not just go into standard view, set your view to 50 message per page if you need too. there should be a select all button before all the messages. doing 50 at a time is better then checking 50 checkboxes. then go back to basic when finished.

Re: plumbing issue any ideas?

Hi all,

This is a very good reason for learning and using Braille. If I were thee, of course I haven't labeled my electric box, stick a Braille lable on your valves and then you won't have to remember. That's why the sighted label everything from soup to nuts. They don't want to have to remember what's what.

The fact that you have somebody come and he fiddled with the main valve is a good indication that this may be the trouble. If it is, it's an easy fix. Good luck.

Ann P.

Original message:

My one friend told me that maybe when the guy was here to put in my new
water filter maybe he did not turn the main valve open all the way. I
also contacted my uncle who knows about plumbing stuff, so am waiting to
hear back from him so he can come to my house and check it out. I don't
remember what valve is the main water valve and am hesitant to go down
in the basement and start turning valves and stuff without knowing what
I am doing. I did know a few years ago which one was the main water
valve. But since I have no reason to touch it, I forget what does what
down there.

yes before the last few months pressure was fine.

ask the city to check the water pressure at the meter.
then you may have to have a plumber check the pressure coming into
the house and if there is a difference it may be roots clogging the
lines somewhere along the way.
Call the city first if they are your water supplier.

hey everyone I have a question. I have my own house. within the past two
months you know how when you flush the toilet the water turns on to fill
the tank back up? Well first of all, it fills up slower than it used to,
second, when I run the bath the toilet filling process nearly comes to a
standstill. next, when i run the washer in the basement when the washer
is filling up the bath won't fill and toilet won't fill the tank back up
unless the washer is done filling first. also washer filling seems to
take longer. any ideas?

Hi all,

You might get a better answer on the BrailleNote List, but unfortunately, the Apex is not known for its connectivity. It is, in fact, its weak point. To solve the problem permanently, trade it in for a Polaris or a Touch.

Thanks bro.

I’ll take it out after I finished this message.

To answer the other email, I swear I thought all it took was simply to change the extension and not have to use a converter.

I used to use format factory but later versions got clunky for me using jaws.

Sis Vicky, I'm so angry with HIMS for sending to the market a nearly
obsolete product not quite ready for prime time! Shipment to me will be
delayed for this reason as I have elected to wait until they iron out a few
more silly bugs! They had so much hype back in March, delayed shipping by
an entire month, and still failed miserably in so many areas.

Also, I had hoped for a full-blown Talkback experience; no, I was wrong and,
I feel bad defending it when I did on their list.

A question I'd like to ask you if I may: What version of Lollipop is your

It's been a long time since I've plugged a cord in to my dm-620 Olympus recorder, so therefore, I don't know what kind of small cord it takes, do any of you?
If you do, beside giving me the number of the usb type, let me know something like how the plug in the recorder end feels, such as does it have 2 points on one side, or is it smoothe on both sides, but one side is a bit shorter?
I believe that the cord does go in at the bottom where you put the batteries in, but do let me know for sure if you would please.
Many thanks,

I second this option. I love iRinger. It lets you select the file, add
effects to it, (though the fancy ones you can pay for(, fade in and
out is free, it lets you test the tone first, and lets you choose
where you want to export it. You can go just to your computer or it
puts it into the right folder in iTunes for you. It also trims the
file to the required 30 second limit for a tone for iOS.
There is no install, but it does create a folder in your documents
folder to hold all of the files you had been working on. It does have
ads, at least once you are done, it asks you to click on this to
support their sponsors, but I never figured a way to click on the

Type "uninstall" in the search box and find the uninstall
programs/programs and features option in the results. Select that.
Then, search through the list and find the program that needs to be

OK. I don't see what the problem is, all you have to do is go into the properties of the shortcut on the desktop and set up the shortcut key on the shortcut tab. Typing jaws 18 into the run dialogue box and pressing enter will also start Jaws if it does not start automatically after booting up.

This has nothing to do with JAWS settings.  The hotkey for starting JAWS is
assigned by the user in the JAWS shortcut properties.  It is not a JAWS
specific setting so saving your JAWS settings will not help with this issue.

Re: Uninstalling programs using Windows 7

Gene

What problems is the person having?  If the person can't find where to uninstall programs, just bring up the start search field and type uninstall or uninstall programs or whatever similar phrase gives good results.  Then down arrow through the results.  use read current line before moving to make sure you hear the result you are already on.  The start search is designed so that even if you don't know the actual name, which is programs and features, if you type something relevant, you will get results.

Hi there Folks!

I have a friend who is attempting to uninstall a program and he is using windows 7 at this time.  I am using windows 10 and am having some issues in talking him through the procedure.  Wonder if someone using windows 7 could give me a brief refresher on how this is done so I might pass it a long to him?  THANKS MUCH! de

Re: Malware bytes free edition

Carlos

When you install it, either refuse the trial offer when setup is complete or wait for the trial to expire.  Either of the above will run it in freeware mode.

Good evening, listers, Brian Zolo here in Gahanna, Ohio.  I just downloaded malware bytes free edition and I’m told that it’s the trial edition for malware bytes pro.  Where do I get the free edition?  Have a great day!  BZ!

Re: Malware bytes free edition

As I recall, after the trial expires, it automatically reverts to the free version.

It does have
ads, at least once you are done, it asks you to click on this to
support their sponsors, but I never figured a way to click on the
window to make it go away and alt f4 worked fine for me.

I ringer also does this. Just put your 30 second clip in and it does
the converting for you.

The M4R files used as ringtones are just M4A files with an M4R extension.
So all you really need is an audio converter which can convert files from
MP3 to M4A. After the file is converted, just change the extension from
M4A
to M4R. The program Pazera Free Audio Extractor which I have posted
about
many times can convert from MP3 to M4R.

Hi Kimsan,

Dropbox it to me, I'll convert it, & send it back.
Take care. Mike. Go Dodgers!

Hi,

I have a file I wanna use for a ringtone. Is it as simple as
replacing
.mp3 with crap, I just forgot what the file extension is for itunes but
what
ever it is am I just able to do that or must I use a program to convert.

Respectfully,

Kimsan Song
