Thanks to both of you guys who answered. I am going to check out OE Classic again. I do not remember how much the paid version costs, but I just may give it a try. I have been looking for a good email client since the demise of Windows Live Mail, and I just can't seem to grow to like Outlook.

Many thanks for the help, I was able to set the speed the way I wanted
it and the volume as well.
Oh, one other thing, the fire stick talks about other apps you can get
for it, is that really so, and I won't be hurting the Stick by
downloading a few?
Many thanks,

After logging in, press Enter where it says
"Search menu"
to activate the search edit field and search for stations.

Press Enter on the name of a station to start playback.  The player will remember the last station you were playing so the next time you return to the website, assuming you allowed it to retain your log in information, you can just press the
"Play audio"
button to resume playback.  Most of the main controls of the player are labeled buttons so their functionality should be fairly obvious.

The handsets for Panasonic cordless telephones can be used
to program various functions for each system. The buttons
on the handsets have alternate labels for almost, if not
all, buttons and these alternate labels are referenced in
the user manual when describing the steps necessary for
programming those various functions.

The problem: The user manual does not relate the alternate
labels to the normal labels as found on the face of each
button.

For example: Which alternate label is associated with the
number 5 button?

My question: Does anybody know where to find a list of the
alternate labels used for programming and their associated
buttons?

The free version has not been upgraded yet to 2.7, which is the much more accessible one. A link is below, explaining the accessibility changes. Paid users can get 2.7 now, but the free peeps will have to wait. How long? Ask the developers this.

Re: NVDA commands

Quentin Christensen

Hi Ann,

I've just had a look through the current version of the material, and there is one line in the activity which says to press SHIFT+numpad 7 to move the review cursor to the top line of text, and an instruction which says to press NVDA+numpad 7 to move to the next review mode, which should be correct.

It's possible I've left an error in there somewhere, so if you can please let me know where I can endeavour to get it fixed ASAP.  Also, if you are using the audio material, there was an issue with some of the commands in the review cursor section being read as for instance, "numpad + 7" instead of "numpad 7".  Actually just looking back through my notes, I think it was you who alerted me to that, so thank you!

I've just got the updated audio which fixes that, so it should be packaged and uploaded in the next couple of days.  We don't specifically send out notifications for updates to the material (usually they are relatively small), but if you log into your account and download the material you have purchased, you will always get the latest version.

Kind regards

Quentin.

Thanks Ron and Gene.  You hit it.  And besides, OE decided to put the mail files in the root directory.  So I've removed the deleted items file and set it to a mail folder; it's working again.  I'll try to remember this next time.

Thanks.

Hi Howard,

I wonder if your deleted items folder got corrupt some how.  If it did, you could find the deleted items.dbx file under that long path for
XP that I cannot now remember or just search for deleted items.ddx and you should find it.
So to summarize:

1.  close Outlook Express.

2.  Find that deleted items.dbx file.

3.  delete it.

4.  Launch Outlook Express again.

When you launch Outlook Express again, it should automatically create the deleted items.dbx file again.  Then try deleting and see what happens.

GoldWave is accessible, but it sounds as if you may be looking for a converter instead of an editor.  You can try Pazera Free Audio Extractor.
https://my.pcloud.com/publink/show?code=XZUfdUZiIXbjJHGOk0EhAQ0L8T3Th7cfUt7

Brief usage instructions:

1. Press Control+O to add specific files to the list or Control+F to add an entire folder.
2. Select the output settings such as the format.
3. Select the output directory or use the default setting which is to use the source/input directory.
4. Press Control+E to convert the files.
Note, you can also find all of these options on the context menu when the list has focus by pressing the Applications key.
