Interesting, I was thinking that Image for Windows could successfully create incremental backups, but apparently you are correct, it only does full and differential backups because of incremental backups tending to be troublesome.

Have you tried exporting your J18 settings, then
importing them into J2020? You could try this just to see if that will
help. But, if you decide to do this backup your J2020 settings beforehand
as well so if importing the J18 settings doesn't help you can go back to your
original J2020 settings. Steps are below:
You export all your settings by going into the
Jaws context menu with, Jaws key + J, if you run Jaws from the system
tray. Then go to, Utilities / Import
/ Export settings submenu and press enter. Now arrow down to, Export settings..., press enter, now make sure that the, Export all settings radio button is selected. Tab to, next, press spacebar. You're now in a dialog to select a name & save location, but the file will already be named and the default location is the desktop, so tab to finish , press enter and all your settings for that Jaws version will be saved to the desktop. After you install Jaws just import this settings file. Take care and stay safe. Mike. Sent from my iBarstool. Go dodgers!

Just for the hell of it try using the touch cursor
to see if you can pick up a button or another control that the Jaws PC cursor
isn't picking up. Gene is probably correct, but in this situation it
doesn't hurt to try other options for experimentation sake. It might be
that one of those graphics needs to be clicked on to make the Okay button
active.

Check your graphics verboscity setting in J18 then
change it to the same in J2020 and maybe
changing your graphics verboscity setting to, Labeled, if it hasn't been already
will help.
With the baseball program open press, Insert + 6,
on the number row to open the Settings Center for this application.
Down arrow to, Graphics and Symbols closed, and
right arrow to open.
Down arrow to, Graphics verboscity...,
and tap the spacebar to toggle through the graphics settings options.
Your options are No graphics, Labeled graphics and All graphics. Stop on,
Labeled graphics, tab to, Apply, press the spacebar, tab to, Okay, and press
enter to save / close.
If this doesn't help you can return the setting
back to where it was if you like, but leaving it on Labeled I find works best

Re: MP3 Direct Cut Splitting with Cue Marks
Gene
I've never bothered with cue points. I don't know if one method is faster and easier than the other, but I manually set markers, then do what I want to do with whatever is between them.
toggle quoted messageShow quoted text
If you want to save all the songs in an album in separate files, you can do the following: First, remove any blank space or space at the beginning of the file containing audio. Set the start marker at the beginning of the file with b. Move to where you want the file to begin and press n to set the end marker. Then press the delete key. Now, set the start marker again at the beginning of the file. This would be the first song, in this case. Move to the end of the song and set the end marker. Now use the save selected option to save the song. The command is control e. Write the name you want to give the song and press enter. The song will be saved. After you save it, delete it with the delete key. Now set the start marker at the beginning of the file again. I am assuming that there is some blank space between songs. Move to the start of the song, set the end marker just before the beginning, and delete. Now follow the procedure I outlined above. I haven't described how to do fine editing, which you may want to do when moving the markers to the end of a song, so you can be at the end and not leave unwanted blank space or not leave unwanted blank space at the beginning. I may explain it in another message or I may send you a link to download my MP3 tutorial which teaches the basics, including editing. Gene

Re: MP3 Direct Cut Splitting with Cue Marks
Steve Matzura
B for Beginning and N for End. Don't know why N = End, but it does. You move the pointer to wherever you want to start cutting either with the PageDown key or by typing a time into the not-so-obvious edit field, then press B to mark the beginning, move the time line pointer again and pres N.
