Thanks for the additional information.  I am going to use this for a while with the reading pane turned off to verify that  its working right for me.    Not knowing the difference between reading pane and preview pane did caused me a bit of confusion.

Hi,

Guess I should have been a bit more clear.  Which choice should I choose for Jaws17 on Windows10 and WLM 2012?
And,I am using WLM Version 16. etc.

I see choices like at the bottom, at the right, and off.

Many thanks,

Re: Repost: As Concerns Tune In And NFL Football

Kassy <kasandratoo@...>

Ron, I used Tune in premium for a couple of months last year, so my answers may not be the same as they would be now. I don't believe you can get any of the archived games but to the best of my memory, you can get pre and post season games. My problem with Tune in was that I did not find the other items included in the premium version to be worth the price of the monthly subscription when I could listen to the games on Pro Radio for free. In addition, I seemed to lose the stream much too often during the games.
Others may have a better experience with Tune In and hopefully someone will add to my limited information.

I received several suggestions that I use Tune In for NFL Football games
but when I asked for some information, I didn't hear back from anyone.
Therefore I am posting this request again.

Hi Group,

With my quandary over the NFL Game Pass site, people have suggested that
I subscribe to Tune In Premium for NFL football. I have a few questions.

1. Do you get all the games both home and away broadcasts every week?

2. Do you get any archives or replays?

3. Do you get preseason or post season games?

Thanks for any information.

Well of course it wouldn't make sense to delete anything if nothing is found
in a search, but my point is that just because you don't find anything, does
not mean an application has not left obscure references behind. While it is
common practice to label keys which contain common settings after the
program or vender, it is not a requirement. And keys which register file
types, DLLs, or other components are often not obviously associated with an
application.

I have to wonder what kind of scale you are using to get these wild readings. I have a moderately priced scale which  I purchased quite some time ago and the variances in weights is never more than a few tenths of a pound. Maybe you just got a defective scale.

Subject: [TechTalk] Taylor talking bathroom scales

Hi guys.  Since the first of May I've been on a weight loss regime.  I have a pair of talking bathroom scales that give me an indication of my weight but like most bathroom scales are not known for accuracy.  These scales were only around £35 but although it gives me an indication of weight loss, I'm never sure of what weight I actually am as I get different readings each time I get on.  It is very sensitive to position; if you stand towards the top you get one weight, if you stand nearer the back you get another reading and if you stand in the middle you get yet another.  The same goes if you stand with your feet together or apart.  Even position and the surface they are on has an effect as does the humidity level.  In other words trying to get an accurate reading is as difficult as winning the lottery; you get lots of numbers but which is the winning one.

As a result of this I've decided to invest in a much more accurate pair of scales but the price is very much higher.  I speak of the Taylor talking scale and apart from being pretty accurate (not to medical standards) they are stylish also but that's lost on me.  These scales are £138 plus shipping but according to an independent review, they are very good and gives you consistent readings regardless where you stand on the platform.  The reason for this post is to ask if anybody on the list has a pair of these scales? and what you think of them.  Going back to the scales I have here; the difference between standing toward the front of the scale and the back and I'm only talking about an inch or so was 10.5 pounds so you might understand why I have little confidence in them  Of course, the voice is female and as with all females, you never get an accurate figure when you ask about weight.  Walter.

Re: uninstalling corrupted programs in windows 10?

Carlos

Well of course it wouldn't make sense to delete anything if nothing is found in a search, but my point is that just because you don't find anything, does not mean an application has not left obscure references behind. While it is common practice to label keys which contain common settings after the program or vender, it is not a requirement. And keys which register file types, DLLs, or other components are often not obviously associated with an application.

If I do take the registry root, I want to search for the program's name. If nothing comes up, I don't touch anything. That's what I did the last time, and that particular one paid off.

The other problem with deleting registry keys is you cannot make the
assumption that all keys and values associated with a particular application
are clearly labeled. Certain types of registry keys are not.

What if, for example, they were installed 4 weeks ago, you tried to remove
them a week ago, and it's not working? Reverting it that far back could be
a little risky... Would Looking them up in the registry work?

Short of using System Restore, there is no established method for
removing
corrupted program installations.

Hi All,
So, I have a few things that I've installed, and now want to uninstal,
but, I get errors like this and that file couldn't be found, with
another
one, the uninstall option doesn't even appear. Tried a quick google
search, but those all just say restore point, and that I should look
for
an uninstaller, which, don't apply here. Does anyone have some ideas?
