Someone mentioned zoiper in this thread, It is worth noting, zoiper can not transfer calls with the free version, that is a feature you have to pay for.

Please can you recommend a Sip Client that can work on smartphones and is compatible with Android and IOS?

Hi Josh,

Me, I'd go for simple. I have one here, has one button with three settings.

Your shredded stuff should go in the recycling been, unless your local animal shelter can use them. Mine does. they use it for the puppies' and kittens' cages. It's much easier to clean up than other things.

Thank you for the information.
I will install a program called Zoiper on the phones of the managers.
I used this program for a while.
So I do not predict that I will have problems.
This program has a lot of features.
Actually, many of them are unnecessary to me.
I will only answer the calls of those who want to phone the School and transfer the call to the managers.
Since I won't be making video calls, it doesn't need to be a very sophisticated program.
That's why I wanted to ask.

I'd also think, that if you are responsible for all this, you'd prefer something that you can access and play with before putting it into the hands of others.  They'll almost certainly be asking you questions, and it helps if you've tried out the software yourself.

Hello, I have a Fellowes cross-cut shredder that I have had for over five years.  It came with a little basket that it sits on top.  I think it is about a five gallon capacity.  I can shred up to twelve sheets of paper at a time.  I paid $39.00 on sale. It was recommended by Consumer Reports.

Hi

I am thinking of buying a paper shredder off amazon. So which do you recommend? The ones that only do cross-cut? Or the micro-shredding ones? Will a paper shredder let me get rid of junk mail and other papers easier if they are shredded? Right now I just cut them into several pieces with a scissors and throw them away. I think I would like a way to shred up old papers and junkmail really really small so I can throw more of it away at one time.

Re: micro sd cards with adapters

Hi M S Kirtley,

To remove the micro sd card from its adapter,
Let the card sit flat with the notched edbe facing down,
At the top front of the card you will feel a little lip,
Using your fingernail, slide the micro s d card, from the adapter.
Careful, don't drop it as it is small and could be hard to find, especially
it it drops onto a thick carpet.

I would like to know if it is possible to remove the card from the adapter?

I know how to put it together. Just wondered if it would snap out, if need
be. I would rather ask rather than try and possible break it.

Cordially, Ms. Kirtley

Re: micro sd cards with adapters

Brian Vogel <britechguy@...>

If you're talking your typical microSD to full-sized SD card adapter, the microSD card simply slides in/out of the adapter on any I've ever dealt with.  I use my fingernail to catch the edge of the microSD card on the side of the adapter with the cut out and slide it out.

Now, one word of caution, some slide gracefully while others stick and suddenly come flying out, often flying across the room into some dark corner if you're not careful.  If you do this sitting down and with the adapter positioned such that the microSD card will hit your stomach if you have a "flyer" you're generally better off.  If it's a graceful slider it won't matter.

No, you misunderstood me.
School administrators are not visually impaired.
I'm looking for a small, voice-only program that administrators can use, even if it's not accessible to me.
I am already using Microsip on the computer.
I will not use the program I requested.

Re: free remote connection to a remote computer

Again this should be sent to the blind sysadmins list or win 10 list.

Question already answered, see below:

We have several issues, the subject is remote computers, then you start on vmware.

Remote  computer software like remote desktop or team viewer work well.

Remote desktop is free and is part of windows.

Vmware also works well and I don’t understand your issues, then again I don’t most of your many issues!

Sorry, I just read your comment about snide remarks! <grin>

Why not ask this sort of question on the blind sysadmins list?

I just checked it out and I don't like it it is not at all like jeff dreams site.  You have to have an account and there is no list of movies in alphabeticall order.  Thats why I did not use it before.  If thats all we have now thats not good.  That site is one piece ofjunk.  Jeff did it the right way that was the best site that there ever was for dvs movies.
