Especially for Edmond, HP support tool

Rajmund <brajmund2000@...>

Hi Edmond, so, as you mentioned earlier, HP did install a little software on it for me. Now the problem. I can't seem to be able to get rid of it. Any ideas, anyone, please? Every time I try, it freezes on 71%.

If you can boot into WinPE, you can partition the drive without sighted assistance. Of course, whether you will need sighted assistance to boot into WinPE is a different story.

OK. So let's start!
Backup the data partition first if you can! Problems can arrive.
I think we have 2 options here.
Option 1. Delete your W10 partition within W7 and then add the Unallocated
space to the W7 partition. Then you can clean install W10 on your new
partition and keep your data partition untouched.
Option 2. (Well, my preferred)
Start W10 setup. At the time of install, delete everything on the hard drive
and then re-partition the hard drive to your liken. (You want 2 partitions).
You can then restore the backup you (hopefully) made in the first step to
the second partition you just created during Windows setup.
Don't worry, it's not too complicated.
Let us know if you need anything...

I assume:
1. you have 3 partition on a single hard drive.
2. Your w10 is property licensed.
3. At the end, you want 2 partitions. 1 for w10 and 1 for your data.
Let's first confirm these.

These are default folders in POP3. The mail server do not have control of
these, and your client do not have control of the folders on the mail
server.
IMAP, on the other side, is different. both the client and the server,
(mostly client) have the controls of the available mail folders.
Hope I explained good.

Re: folders on the u2

Kimsan

Ok, Jeremy,

I will switch it over to imap tonight, but with the u2 qwerty how do I
navigate to those folders once they appear.

These are default folders in POP3. The mail server do not have control of
these, and your client do not have control of the folders on the mail
server.
IMAP, on the other side, is different. both the client and the server,
(mostly client) have the controls of the available mail folders.
Hope I explained good.

HMM, DOES IT ALSO CHECK, SAY, YOUR SPAM? Computer might, but note
takers, the ones on windows CE, do not.

Is that specific to the u2? Because I have pop on my computers, and
I can see all boxes. Pam.

No. POP only checks the inbox. IMAP shows everything, POP goes and
grabs mail from the inbox, only. Or so I think.

They used to show up, not sure why now. That's why I am inclined to
think it's a pop issue, but pop would've downloaded the folders
too, right?

Braille keyboard, GMAIL, any additional folders, just show up.
Can't check outlook, however.

By any chance that they are closed, and need to be opened with
right-arrow.

Ok, we established subfolders vs folders. My mistake.

So, how come mine are not showing.

IF you create folders WITHIN, i.every., at the level below the
Inbox Outbox, Sent Items; THEN your created folders are
SUB-FOLDERS of one of the above-named.

Hi Gene, Thanks you the clarification. Thought Kimsan meant, say,
cooking, within inbox. In that case, with IMAP, they will show
up, in the usual folder list, somewhere.

Those aren't subfolders. They're just folders. Subfolders are
folders you create within a folder.

So, there is an inbox, sent, etc. Then you can create a folder
and call it, cooking, braille sense, etc.

That's what I mean by sub folders.

If memory serves, I didn't see the subfolders neither unless I
forgot how to locate them. How do I locate them anyways, I will
switch it to
imap.

Hello,
POP will only download your inbox. So, inbox, sent, outbox,
trash, is all will show, as they are the default folders.

Hi,
When I open my email on the u2, how do I access the emails in
the other folders I've created. All I see are inbox, sent, the
normal ones.
I'm using pop and outlook.com if that matters.
Thanks.
