Are you saying that the business doesn't send things free matter if requested?  Did you make such a request with your order?  and is this a business specializing in dealing with blind people?

No it was not a restocking fee. They charged me for something that could have been sent free matter. So if one orders something from them, be prepared! That is all I am going to say on the subject! Heather

I don't know if your message is a valid warning.  Are users told in some sort of straightforward way that returning something will involve a restocking fee?  I purchase very little and I have returned nothing.  What is customary for those companies that specialize in dealing with blind purchasers?  Do they generally charge a restocking fee for returns?  How much?  Is this company within what is customary now?

Aside from that, since all sorts of merchants charge restocking fees now, is the charge within what is reasonable for merchants in general?  Shipping isn't the question.  Restocking fees aren't based on shipping costs.  they are a cost imposed for restocking a returned item.

If I operated a business, I probably would not send stuff out free matter. Did you have an agreement that they would send it out free matter? Did you get anything in writing saying this?

Yo Bro,

Try the following:
1. While in Word press, Insert + V, to open Jaws quick settings.

2. Down arrow to, Editing Options, if it says closed press the right arrow to open.

3. Continue down arrowing 6 or so times to, New Lines and Paragraphs Indication, if this says, On, press the spacebar to turn it off.

4.  Tab to, Okay, press enter to save and close.

Take care.  Mike.  Sennt from my iBarstool.  Go Dodgers!

Re: Thunderbird list?

Gerald Levy

Unfortunately, the owner/moderator of the Thunderbird list is a guy named Marcio who seems to have vanished into the ether.  He has not posted on the Thunderbird or any other lists for months, so there is no way for a new member to the TB list to get his first message approved.  To my knowledge, nobody else has taken over running this list.  It is possible thatMarcio is experiencing personal or technical issues that prevent him from moderating the TB list.

Also, I think it is better to use Firefox Portable.  If there are any problems such as corruption of the program or you lose your profile, you don't have to waste any time trouble shooting or repairing the program.  Simply copy the portable version to another location as a backup.  Delete and copy the program to the backup location as things change so it will be current.  if you ad some book marks, update the backup.  After a new version is installed to update the program, copy it to the backup location. then, if anything goes wrong with the program you use, delete the folder and copy the portable backup folder to the location of the program you use and you will have to do nothing else.  the portable version does everything the installed version does and I think Firefox should actually get rid of their installed version and make the portable version available as the program.  I see no advantage and clear disadvantages in using the installed program.

also, if you get a new computer, you can simply copy the portable version to the new computer.  No copying cookies to the installed version on a new machine, no loss of history, which means no loss of visited links, you will have everything you have on the old machine, except that I'm not sure if every add-on and plugin is copied, but they may all be..

I am not sure what you mean by the accessibility changed.  there were problems such as slow performance when the new quantum versions of Firefox started to be released perhaps a year ago.  but that has been greatly improved now.  I don't know if there are any problems or inconveniences now. but the program was accessible continually.  Try the current version if you want to see what you think of it.  It is a very bad idea to run old versions of browsers.

I don't know why you are having the problem with Chrome.  You may want to use Internet Explorer to download and Chrome for everything else.

As time passes, you may want or need to use Firefox for downloading and Chrome for everything else.  Over time, you will slowly be able to use Internet Explorer on fewer and fewer sites.  It is an archaic browser and as sites change technologically, slowly, increasing numbers won't work.

You will have little to learn to use Firefox.

I'm not sure.  Where do you see such wide fluctuations as five minutes and two days.  The only place I see something like that is when uploading, not downloading, to Dropbox.  What happens when you use other browsers?  Perhaps the download is timing out because of a network problem.  it may be so slow for so long that it simply stops as a timeout.  You may be able to verify that by checking the download history, which I'll discuss later if necessary.  But first, what happens with other browsers?
