Re: accessible tor version?

David Mehler

Hello,

Got it fixed. I searched and found a bug accessibility thread in tor.
After reading all of it's posts they seem to be recommending updating
to tor v8.55. The version I had installed was 7.5, and it only updated
to 8.3. So I went to the torproject web page and found that version as
9.5. Downloaded it, installed, and it is working great!

Thanks.
Dave.

Hello,

I'm using jfw 2019 and NVDA 2019 as screen readers. I'm needing to use
tor. It does not look like the current version nor the previous one
which I have as 7.5.4 is accessible anymore. Is there an accessible
version or a fix?

Thanks.

Someone should bring a lawsuit alleging violation of religious liberties. if you cant burn candles, than aside from the absurdity of no birthday cakes with candles, you can't light a Chanukah minora and I'm sure other religions can't properly observe or carry out ceremonies. Evidently, from what you say, both affluent and poor people live in the building, but I doubt that if it were just affluent people, the managers would be able to treat them like children.

We just have very strict managers and we always have apartment inspections; at least twice a month woe! We are tax credited community. We are supposed to be mixed but, it is very mixed as one person can be paying 1600 and the next apartment could be paying 30 a month. And we all have the same layout with the same appliances. If your not chummy with the manager, if you have a battered chair outside on the back porch, it is a 150 fine. So don’t keep grandma’s old rocking chair outside woe! Only knew porch furniture. Hi. Let me see if I get this right.

You cannot burn stick incense because it stands way up, right? but you could burn cone incense, because it's right down there in the burner. Have I got this right?

I would probably give away the tall ones, or maybe trade with a friend for the cone-shaped ones.

I just priced cone incense on amazon. it's about 7.20 for about 120 pieces.

Now tell me if I have it right, that you could burn the cones.

One thing you might do if you just love the incense is to put it into your drawers; then all the things inside do take on the fragrance.

It isn't the best solution; and maybe others will have better ideas for you.

Best,

Penny

Hi all,

It's fire regulations, Gene. It isn't the apartment complex's idea. One can buy battery operated lights now that look like candles. They may even have battery operated Minnorah's. They aren't the same as the real ones, but hey, the actual temple flames were in oil lamps, not candles anyway. The whole point of the miracle is that the oil for the lamps lasted eight days instead of just one.

I think it's a shame that you can't like candles on a cake, but what can one do except follow regs.

Hi all,

I ran into this at the National ACB Convention last summer. We couldn't burn candles at either the Shabbat service or the Mass on Sunday. So we resorted to t-lights. Those are the little battery operated lights you can buy They look like candles when they are lit.

I think at walmart my son and I got these wax things. They are like candles but they are in a glass tray and a slightly smaller glass dish goes into the tray. So you put the block of wax with the scent you want into the tray which sits inside the dish and then you plug it into the wall. It heats up the wax enough to melt it but it does not burn and its not hot enough to really burn you either. But it gives the whole place a nice scent. Its like a candle but without burning or lighting anything on fire. I don't remember what these products are called. The plug-in wax trays.

Need Help Using 1Password with Chrome

Kelly Sapergia

Hi,

After hearing about 1Password, I thought I'd give it a try. I've installed
both the Windows program and Chrome extension. However, I can't seem to get
it to work in Chrome. That, or I just don't understand how it works. I've
set it up so it will bypass Chrome's password manager, but whenever I try
logging into a site, I'm not being asked if I want to save the password. I
understand there's a hotkey, Control+Backslash, to bring up a 1Password
window or something, but nothing happens when I press it.
(Control+Shift+Backslash loads the main program window.)
There's also a message that pops up at the bottom of a page whenever I've
filled in a password that says to press the Down Arrow key to bring up a
menu. Pressing it, however, does nothing.
If anyone's using this successfully, can you please tell me what I'm doing
wrong, if anything?

Thanks.
