Before you update you need to update those drivers to the current ones. I have a lanova and you are out of date for those drivers.

Subject: [TechTalk] Updating to windows 10

Hi,
So, I stopped using Windows about 4 years ago and switched to Mac OS full-time.
Before that time, I had a all-in-one Lenovo desktop that ran windows 10. Recently, I aquired a studio desk for my music set-up, and I decided to resurrect my old desktop just because why not, and the desk had a second layer, so I could easily fit both the iMac and the Lenovo on it.
Well, it's been a couple of weeks since then, and I saw that there was an update to windows 10, (I believe it was 1909, I'm not currently sitting at the machine to varify, but it deffinetly had the numbers 19.) When I tried to im install it, it said something about an issue with the RealTech drivers I had and that they needed to be updated.
This honestly doesn't really bother me, because it's not like I'm making this my full-time PC again, I'll most likely just use it for gaming and stuff like that, but still, it doesn't hurt to be on the letest version of an OS, especially where security patches are concerned.
So, if anyone has any info reguarding what's happening, that would be great.
Thanks for reading,
John.

dual docking stations

Hi,

I have 2 500 gb sata hard drives in a dual docking station, both drives are showing as the same drive letter, if I remove one drive and change the drive letter, it shows as the new drive letter but if I put the other drive in, it also shows as the same drive letter, how can I correct this please? I have tried it on two windows 10 pc's.

Could someone explain how Roku works? Do you stream through
your Wi-Fi? Does it improve the picture like cable does? Can
you operate more than one TV with it, and if so, how? Does
the talking remote cost extra, or is it like a smart phone
with some sort of voice screen reading? Is installation
complicated? Are there tiers or levels of it like with
cable?

Anything you can tell me will be more than I know. Thanks

Hi. The same company that distributes CCleaner has a recovery tool called Recuva. It is quite accessible and I believe they do have a trial version. However, it must be noted that file recovery doesn't work as straightforward as might be expected because a lot of what is recovered depends on how clean or corrupt your disk's sectors are. Also, If you have overridden a file and wish to recover it, great chance is you might not be able to. Still, the success rate of file recovery can be quite high, with Recuva, depending on the state of your disk. Cheers!

The Wolfgang puck is very accessible. It just has one lever that you push down twice to cook and once it is done it will automatically flip up to warm. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Hi Andy,

The only way I know of is to run the thermostat in manual mode, all programs turned off, but you would have to switch from AC to Heat manually which you have to do anyways.  But, let's say you wanted to have the stat on 75º, and if your cycle / split rate is at 1, 2, or whatever you wouldn't stay at a constant 75º anyways, it'll always fluctuate according to the cycle / split rate.  It's better to have the, economically speaking anyways,  cycle / split rate set on, 2, to give a combination of comfort and not kicking the system off / on too often.

It definitely takes being able to see to change the cycle / split rate.  Do you have the manual or CD that came with the thermostat?  I can send you steps, but if I were you I would choose the cycle / split rate to be set at 2.  I explained the using a 4 split, but the default is supposed to be 2.

Below is a direct Dropbox link for a folder with several notes I've made  along with the files from the book and CD that come with the VIP thermostat.

I tried all of the suggestions mentioned on this list. So did two different

The manufacturer also couldn't figure out why my VIP 3000 wasn't responding

tried everything from new batteries to multiple resets . No joy.

Believe it or not, Sometimes, a defective product does get pass quality
