Thank you very much. I really appreciate that. I enjoy Rewound Radio. They play 50's, 60's, and 70's, and some 80's. They have airchecks and jingles on weekends and live shows. They take requests during their live shows and give shoutouts to people.

Vicky Vaughan
Hi Folks, I am using Jaws 2020 with Outlook 2016 . I would like to know if there is a keystroke that would take the address of the message that is being read and put it into Contacts.

Hi Jim,

This is such a coincidence, last night I charged up my Asus netbook for the first time in years. I'd like to be able to use mind to stream audio into my home stereo receiver. Anyway, please let me know if you find out anything and I'll do the same as I plan on researching this issue myself. Thanks, Norma

They came with windows xp with an upgrade to windows 7 starter. I never did the upgrade to windows 7 starter and I no longer have the disk to re-install. I'd like to make use of these but am not sure if I can get a version of xp to re-install. Does anyone have any suggestions? The hd on both netbooks no longer have any recover partition. I had vinux on one, but that is no longer being maintained. So my options at this point would be: 1 find and install xp, upgrade it to windows 7 starter and then upgrade to windows 10. 2. find some sort of flavor of linux distro that talks and has good accessability. Does anyone have any ideas on either path? at this point I'm leaning tward option1 because all the distros of linux I've found either are dead, not being maintained or just don't work. btw: I'd like an iso of linux with speach installer. I've not had much luck. I did try an install of windows 7 starter, but xp serial number won't work cause don't they change when you move to the upgrade to windows 7 starter? Thanks for any help, suggestions and resources.

Most certainly. Which station do you like? I don't mind looking to see if

they have a stream link in playlist format. If they do, I can send you the file to copy to your Blaze.

Hi Jan. As you know, I'm a Blaze ET beginner, but it seems that putting

your favorite Internet stations on the Blaze is a pain in the posterior if your favorite station doesn't offer a .pls or .m3u playlist link to their stream. If one of your favorite stations offers a listen link that says something about .pls or .m3u , try to put your cursor on that link, hit your applications key if you use Windows, arrow up to "save target as" and hit enter. If the file that is saved ends with the extension .pls or .m3u, copy it to the Webradio folder on your Blaze and pray that the Blaze gives it to you when you open the Web Radio app.

But I have looked everywhere. I have only had the unit for a few weeks. The Victor Reader Stream seems much easier to operate. You can definitely put in your own internet radio stations. I like the fcct that you can record from the fm on the Blaze ET. And I like the OCR camera. Jan

Re: how do you put your contacts into outlook?
Smiling?
Exporting Outlook Contacts
1. From within the inbox, Alt+F for File menu. 2. O for Open and right arrow, or enter. 3. Down arrow to Import and hit enter. This is going to open up Outlook's Import and Export Wizard. 4. Arrow to Export to a file and tab to Next. 5. Arrow to Comma separated values (DOS) and tab to Next. 6. Highlight your Contacts folder and tab to Next. 7. Select your desired location and name where you wish to save your contacts Outlook backup file. 8. Tab to Finish.
Importing contacts for most versions of Outlook.
1. From within the inbox, Alt+F for File menu. 2. O for Open and right arrow, or enter. 3. Now arrow to the list of choices and choose Import hitting enter. 4. Select the Import from another program or file option. 5. Arrow down and choose the Comma Separated Values (DOS) option. 6. Now it's going to give you the option to find the .CSV file it is that you are planning on importing from. 7. You are going to need to tell it in which directory to save your contacts (which will most likely be Contacts). 8. Tab to finish and it should just automatically import your contacts.

Also the RSS feeds I have trouble with start with the word megaphone. I don't know if the word megaphone is in your feeds that you're having trouble with, but I just wish we could come up with something to either be able to find or edit some of these RSS feeds so we can get all our podcast the way we used to. seems like apple and iTunes are the biggest favorite, but I really find the other kind, the RSS or XML feeds to be a lot easier.

Thanks Laz and Olusegun for your thoughts. HIMS would fix it, but they charge quite a bit, and they make noise like most products that come in for repair need a new main board. The person who lent it to me just told me to do what I want with it, so I am going to take it to a local electronics repair shop where the older gentleman who runs it is a wizard with a soldering iron. I have nothing to lose, and Lester the shop proprietor gets to make a buck during these rough times, and crack open something he has probably never seen before. It just needs the charging port resoldered.
