Accessing Google Smart Lock on a web site

Norma A. Boge

Hey group,

I just went to eBay and heard the following:

Alert!
Accounts picker from Google Smart Lock. Sign in to eBay with Google: 2 accounts to choose from.

It seems to go away pretty quickly and I don’t know the keystrokes to take advantage of this cool feature. It’s the first time I’ve seen this option. So, if anyone can help me access this, I would appreciate it. I’m using J2020 and, of course, Chrome.

Thanks, take care,

Norma

I have the charger. The person who passed it on to me says that the
charging port on the bottom is damaged. I would really like to know if my
Blaze works with a charged battery before I send it to HIMS because I don't
want them to tell me that it needs a new main board if the only problem Is
that the micro USB port has been jarred loose. Would you be willing to
charge my battery in your Blaze for me if I send it to you?

You can use a micro usb cord to charge your blaze et. If you need the
charger, you can order it from HIMS, hopefully.

Steps to add a contact to your outlook contacts folder,

1, open outlook,

2, enter on a message which contact information you wish to add.

3, use the keystroke, ctrl+shift+y

you will hear something like, copy to dialog,

4, now press the letter "c" until you hear contacts, press enter,

now the information will be their,

the name, and if you tab you will see the email address.

you can add other information,

when you are finished, alt+s=save,

now, your placed back into the message.

***

2, create new folder,
ctrl+shift+e=create new folder,

type in folder name,

now use the tab-key to edit the information,
note, when you come to,
Select where to place the folder:
make sure you arrow to the top of the folder list where it reads,
your email address opened,
this places the folder into the folder view, it will be into the same level
as the rest of your folders.
if the folder is placed inside the inbox, you will  hear,
inbox closed, and you will need to right arrow to open folder.

Not that I know of, but if using JAWS, the keystroke of

Control+Shift+C will open up a dialogue that will allow you to create a new contact where you the user, are going to need to add the various bits of information for this new contact.

I use Outlook with Office 365. I'm not sure if it's the same as what you're using. But in case it is, navigate to the top of the message. Then shift tab until you come to a button labeled with the sender's address. Open the context menu, and you should find the option to add the sender to your contacts. This opens the usual add contact screen with the person's name and email address filled in. If you don't need to change or add anything, simply press alt plus h followed by a, then v, and you're done. I hope that helps.

Hi all,

I'm trying to make a journey into using Google products. I had a gmail account but I never checked it. So, it lapsed. Then, I got a new account which I use for my Android phone. I can't seem to access the gmail account because it keeps wanting me to sign into the old account. I can't get rid of it, I can't find a 'use another account' link or button or anything. I'm having the worst time, and I really need to get this fixed. Can anyone help please? Does Google have an 800 number? Do they have a chat line or anything so I can talk to somebody?

The going price for a second-hand Blaze ET seems to be between $300 to
$400. I've seen people try to sell them for $400 and end up lowering
their price closer to $300 for it to sell.

Good luck!

Hi,
So does the battery not hold a charge?
I've always wanted a blaze, but I could never afford one.
Then again the way I spend money it's no wonder I can't lol.
Anyways, that is correct.
The blaze has built-in wifi so you can download books straight to the device itself or an sd card.
It's also got Internet Radio, which I think is pretty cool.

Re: list and comparrison of different amazon speakers

John Dowling <1008jmd@...>

Hi,
This isn't a list, but I think if it's streaming you want, you should go with the fire stick.
it's able to stream audio from Amazon music, just like an echo, and it can also stream video content from Prime Video, NetFlix, Hulu and youtube among others.
HTH,
John.

Re: list and comparrison of different amazon speakers

if you are looking for good quality sound and high definition I would recommend the fire stick HD with Alexa remote. This will give you a good picture. The sound will come out of your TV so as long as you have a good sounding TV that should work. Other devices will not be able to stream the picture from your TV.
Hope this helps,

Greetings Social Distancers and Dancers.

On this pc I’m using win7 with chrome and nvda.  All are current versions I think.

Recently,  in the las  couple weeks,  when I go to the audible website, and arrow down through the titles my search have generated,  I hear nvda say “popover” when I land on a title.

Anyone know what popovers are?

How do you interact with them?

Deleting Dropbox folders No Longer In Use

Ron Canazzi

Hi Group,

Someone wanted to know about how to delete Drop Box folders that are no longer in use.  I must have deleted the original post, so I am sending this to a number of lists.

When I deleted the shared folder on my system--the path is c:\users\<computer name>\dropgox, after a few minutes, they disappear on the website when you log into your account using the browser.

Some people have indicated that this is not the case.  On my system, this is what happens.
