Well, I absolutely need to upgrade this phone. However, since the 12 series is said to be much better than the 11, I wanted to get a 12 pro or so, that supports 5g.

This is obviously audio processing that I warned you about. It is called loudness normalisation, and tries to equalize volume of all audio, and doesn't play nice with screen readers.

Hi Heather, These do handle multiple programs and inputs. You can look on specs, or write to the company and ask. A dac just converts the digital signal to analog without any processing involved.

Gene, There is no 30 dollar sound card, nothing of quality worth mentioning. The fios dac is about 75 dollars, and is as cheap as a dac goes. The zen has a better price/performance ratio, and is 129.

Hi Heather, As they recommended, I think you should get the FIO or Zen Dac, which don't process audio, which output audio purely.

Gene, Note that there are few if any cards below 100 dollars that are good, or which don't majorly comprimise on something. I think the 100-200 dollars is the spot that balances price and performance.

Gene, the 200 dollars is apparently the midrange for a DAC. There isn't anything even worth consideration under 75. I did my research, and it looks like the zen dac by ifi is good to meet my needs.

I would avoid the creative ones. There are reports online that the driver software has bugs under 10, and that the direct mode, whith enhancements disabled, isn't as neutral as it should be. Moreover,

USB hubs?
Hi all, With the number of USB devices I own increasing, I think it might make sense to get a USB hub. A few questions. With the ones with a wall adapter, can I plug any amount of things into the hub?

But isn't there a midrange, to high grade price range? I read around 100-200 dollars average for a good one.
