I would think they would. The DACs on newer pcs are terrible quality. Speech or music could sound clearer. But laptops come with crappy dacs they don't even use soundcards.

Then again, if someone can aford it, an r7/I7 is better. Screen readers are hard on the processor, and processor core lag is noticeable more as a result.

The monthly ones do take a long time even when on an SSD. The time on an HDD is much much longer. I had a new versus old work laptop, during the maintenence window, a windows update took 30-40 minutes

The ram performance would be evident in app load times etc. The SSD difference is basicly a 90% difference which is substantial. When copying, installing or removing programs this would be evident. Bu

Gene, look at it this way though. An SSD has a very significant performance improvement that can only be experienced for proper context. And the difference will make a difference in your daily life. A

Because time is literally money. By constantly waste time with my computer when I can just add more ram and make into a nonissue?

You could, but a midrange graphics card is ok. Blind people have little to no use for graphics.

5TB Portable External USB Hard Drive from Seagate for A cheap Price: What does anyone think?
This is interesting. My 5tb drive fell off my small table onto the thick carpet twice, while powered and copying data. No problems seem to have occured.

The Yetti is a fairly expensive Microphone, but it justifies the price. It is very solidly built, and offers several different recording modes. It has monitor mode that I don't use, but most important

Hi, for professional recording, the Blue Yetti is a good mic. Don't buy cheap mics with no gain control or volume.
