Hi Angel,

From the Thunderbird main window, press the F6 key, this should bring you to a list of folders.  Depending upon just how you configure Thunderbird, you may have to press the F6 key more than once to get to the list of folders.  When you do, you should hear something like: Tree view level one inbox selected 1 of 4.'  Then use the down arrow key to highlight the deleted items folder. Then press the tab key until you hear the list of messages and you should be good to go.

They Ask Me If I'm Happy; I say Yes.
They ask: "How Happy are You?"
I Say: "I'm as happy as a stow away chimpanzee on a banana boat!"

Steve is right, the folder is called trash.  Follow the steps in my previous message and look for Trash, not deleted items.  Don't know where my head was on that original.

Actually, I think the name of the folder containing your deleted mail has different names, depending on your email account. With my Outlook.com account the folder is called Deleted. With Gmail it is listed as Gmail Trash and, with my Comcast.net account, it's just listed as trash.

And to get to Trash, I shift tab twice and then arrow down until I get to trash.

Good Luck!

Yes, that's right. If you press shift-tab from your list of messages in the inbox and you don't land on the list of folders try going into the View menu, choose Layout and then make sure Folder pane is checked. If it says "folder pane, not checked" press enter. This exits the menu and will take you back to your inbox. From there, pressing shift-tab should take you to your list of email folders.

Hi there!

don't know whether you got an answer to you r question, so I will attempt to answer it.  What I do for example if I am in the 'all mail folder' and I wish to see what I have recently deleted I simply press the leftt arrow to get me back to the mail directory tree and if you were in the 'all mail folder' your speech program would say for example 'all mail xxx new messages' where the XXX is the number of messages. Then I simply press the up or down arrows to highlight the various folders and at this point I would go to my trash folder and press the right arrow to open it and then using the arrow keys I could simply review the deleted messages there.  Hopefully I haven't totally confused you <SMILE!>.  If so you can drop me a message at Wohlggie@... and I will try to clear things up for you.  Good Luck and Have A Good 1! de
