Jaws 2016 vs. Jaws 2019?

I was recently upgraded from Jaws 2016 to 2019 but I can't really tell
much of an improvement, in fact while there are no noticeable
negatives, I can barely tell a difference. Can somebody point out
what I should be experiencing?

That's a difficult question to answer. There have been many improvements since jaws 16, particularly if you are working with windows 10, Microsoft office and the various web browsers such as google chrome and fire fox. Functionally you probably won't notice much of a difference,, but if you are using windows 10 you should notice much improved performance. My best advice would be to read the What's new info if you really want a detailed accounting of changes and improvements.
