Hi all,
I don't know if anyone can help me, or if there's even anything that can be
done, but I'm getting desperate as getting a gmail account (which is what the
list owner/moderator suggested) for one list is silly. Here's the situation:
I'm subscribed to this email list that's on Google Groups, don't know how long
it's been there. Anyway, it's a grate list and I've been a member for years.
Anyway, I haven't received any emails from the list in months. At first I just
thought that it wasn't active anymore, but it's very much still active. Yes I'm
still subscribed, and the owner/moderator checked my settings and I'm supposed
to receive all list mail. Yes I've checked my junk/spam folder and there's
nothing there. The email address has been added to the trusted senders list, and
I've tried unsubscribing and re-subscribing more then once and still nothing. I
can send messages to the list and they go through and list members can reply,
but I just don't receive any list mail. I'm running Windows 10 version 1909,
Jaws 2018 and Outlook 2013. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas, anything
I/my carrier/the moderator could/should check/try? Like I said it's a grate list

If that doesn't do it, I'd check with your e-mail service provider to see if they're blocking whatever the domain name groups.google.com. This would be very odd, but it's not beyond the realm of possibility.

This isn't the first time I've heard about someone with the same issue
who uses mymts.net.
If you use an email client have you checked the spam/junk folder on mymts.net?
More than likely that email provider is bouncing the list messages
though, which is probably why that group owner recommended gmail
instead.

provider, it just turns into a war about whose fault it is: the list says it’s
your service provider, and your service provider blames it on the list. I

people should rread their messages before sending, especially if using dictation. This isn't just true of list mail, but in general. Dictation isn't fool proof and it may be embarrassing to send an unread message with a serious error.

Hi all,
Yes, Siri is notorious for this kind of debacle. The messages that make me laugh the most are the ones where the person dictating doesn't voice any punctuation marks and you get a long email where in order to read it you have to take a deep breath, and then, start speaking and hope that your air lasts through the whole message. At the end you can actually hear yourself gasping for breath. It's a complete hoot!

Yes, Siri is notorious for this kind of debacle. Yes, I know. But we say it over and over again, and they still don't do it! I also read my written messages before they go out. I won't say there has never been a mistake in mine, because that would be untrue. Sometimes, something slips by and I notice it when I am reading the message on the list. But I do my best to make sure it doesn't happen. But it seems that so many people just write, or speak a message and hit send. Pam.

dictation. This isn't just true of list mail, but in general. Dictation
isn't fool proof and it may be embarrassing to send an unread message with a

Hi, I don't know about personally running out of breath with one of these
messages. However, I have had jaws sounding like he needs to take a breath
in one of those sort of messages. It is quite funny and you can almost hear
him taking a deep breath at the end of the message.

I do use Eloquence and have for almost twenty years and find it the best for pronouncing words. But I have to agree with Pam on this issue. I just wote an extremely long message with no pauses and the Vocalizer Ava voice handled it perfectly. and I do get annoyed with the way Eloquence handles the same message.
