NVDA key not working on laptops

Does the NVDA key generally not work? when you use it for other things, what happens? As for getting into the menu you can in the system tray. If you need instructions, let us know.

I'll briefly say that opening the system tray, Windows key b, then using first letter navigation to get to NVDA, then pressing the context menu key will open the menu but it is important to know if this is a sign of a much wider problem. Gene

Hello group,
I have installed the most recent NVDA on two laptops running Win 10. I cannot get the NVDA menu to come up when I hit Caps Lock N. This is the first time I've encountered this issue. There is a function key on one laptop, a Dell Latitude. I don't know if this function key is creating this problem, but my older laptop does not have a function key but has the same problem.
