Looking for Braill Trans
Loy <loyrg2845@...>
Looking for a program to translate .brf files to
text. I used to have a program Braille trans and I can't find it and can't find
it online. Is this still available and where can I download
it?

Hi all,
You want Text-to-braille by APH. It has an excellent back translator in it. Ann P. -- Ann K. Hi. Wintrans, which was based on NFBTrans, was hosted on Jamal
Mazrui's Empowerment Zone Web site but the download link now
generates a 404 error. Furthermore, my Web search, which I admit was
not all that extensive, did not lead me to any valid download links.
This is regrettable as I really liked this program even though it
lacked UEB support, which I personally never needed.

Hi all,
Braille Blaster, available at the same site is also good, but is more complicated. I have Duxbury here, so don't need Braille Blaster. Send-To-Braille should give you what you need, e.g. downloading books in .brf from Bookshare or NLS and converting 'em to text. Thanks for the link, David. I'm keeping your message. Ann P. -- Ann K.
