choppy bluetooth audio with the pc?

Norman

Hello.

I have a bit of a strange issue with choppy screen reader audio on the pc if using bluetooth.

The headset i'm using is the plantronics explorer e50.

If using just the screen reader, jaws and nvda, it will randomly stop speaking for a couple of seconds.

If i'm also streaming music it works fine. This has been verified with several computers.

Is there something that can be done about this? If not, what's a good alternative headset?

Any thoughts or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

It sounds like your Bluetooth headset is using a power saving mode. If
there's a lapse in the audio it goes to sleep and when audio continues
it wakes up sometimes missing part of the first word when it starts
speaking. You need to look for a headset that doesn't have that power
saving mode or feature.

Hi.
it's not quite like that.
It will cut off in the middle of a sentence for example. It just randomly happens whenever, not just when it stops speaking for a while.
