Okay, now that I’ve added my other account how do I stop gmail from forwarding messages sent to that address to my gmail account?
From: main@TechTalk.groups.io <main@TechTalk.groups.io> On Behalf Of Gene
I don’t know why you didn’t get it. Not receiving one message doesn’t mean anything. While messages usually get where they are supposed to go, I would imagine a very small number don’t.
I don’t think having mail forwarded will make any difference. You are having mail forwarded that reaches your GMail account. But if the message you are discussing was never received by GMail, it wouldn’t be forwarded anyway.

It’s not spam I’m worried about, it’s messages in general. For example I changed a few preferences for a newsletter that I’m subscribed to and after I saved the changes I was told that I’d get an email confirming the changes but I never got it. This got me wondering if there have been other emails that I haven’t gotten as well.

I wanted to check because if it was a POP3 account and you were using an e-mail program, mail might be in the GMail spam filter online and you wouldn’t know it unless you checked online.
I don’t know if you can do what you want but if you aren’t receiving mail, I don’t see how forwarding mail would solve the problem. Does all mail but spam go into your inbox? that should be what happens unless you have set up message rules in the GMail account.

Hi
all, I know that this can be done to a gmail account ( as I have this set up), but I'm wondering is it possible to have gmail messages forwarded to another address? I know how to forward individual messages, but I'm talking about all messages sent to my gmail address. I'm thinking about changing addresses because I'm worried that I'm not receiving all of the messages sent to my gmail account and I'm hoping that changing addresses to one set up by my ISP will fix this issue. I already have the address I just have to add the account to Outlook, it's the address that I have gmail set up to forward messages from. Using latest versions of Jaws, Office 365, Windows 10 and I use the latest version of firefox to access the gmail interface (which I only do when I need to mark a message as not spam or to access gmail settings). Look forward to any help/suggestions that anyone can provide!! Thanks Madison
