ChromeBook for sale

There's a ChromeBook for sale over on eBay. It looks pretty good for the price they're asking. It is a:
ASUS, model:C523NA-IH44F. My question is: can the chrome operating system be replaced with some version of windows or linux; or maybe even DOS? I think if it's possible, I might buy one. Ideas? Thanks. Howard |

Linux can be run on Chrome OS. You are able to replace the operating system but what might affect you is the keyboard. The Chrome OS keyboard is not your standard windows keyboard.
