Press control plus y, This opens your folers list in outlook. Press the letter d til you hear deleted. This is the deleted item folder; press enter to open. This is where the deleted messages are until you delete them for good.

In my Outlook, it's called Trash. It used to be Deleted.

I'm using outlook 2016. I have a "deleted" folder. I do not have a "trash" folder That's alright, As long as we know where the junk is!

It is called trash in my Outlook also, but I cannot get to it using

Control-y. I have to press shift-tab and press either the up or down arrows to find trash or whatever folder one is looking for.
