jaws cutting off beginnings of words in windows 11

Hi all,

On my new windows 11 Dell laptop jaws 2022 is cutting off the beginnings of words when it first starts talking, and it doesn't matter if I'm typing or if I'm reading something and give the say all command. Is there a fix for this? Btw this is the latest version of jaws 2022 and windows 11 version 22H2 OS build 22621.819.

Hi Troy,
press insert 6 on the top row to open the settings centre.
press ctrl shift d to load the defaults.
tab to the search box and type
speech
arrow down to the first option which is avoid speech cut off with some bluetooth speakers and check it.
navigate to ok.
Hope this fixes things?

Aha, the early returns after making this change are positive. I can already tell a difference.
