Hello, I do not use teams but, I think there is a list to help those who do use teams. Can some one please post it here? I think I heard they added jaws scrips you can use.

Cheers Heather

Hi, Heather.

I run the Teams list. To subscribe, send email to

teams-access+subscribe@groups.io

I use Teams every day at work with both JAWS as well as with NVDA and will be happy to assist, if I can.

If one suspects that a mailing list exists for a given topic where accessibility is involved, doing a web search is going to turn it up.  If you believe it's on Groups.io, and there is one for Microsoft Teams and accessibility, then using the Groups.io Group Search with the appropriate keywords, in this case [Microsoft Teams Accessibility], will find it.  The home page of any Groups.io group, or any mailing list I've ever joined, gives the email addresses for subscribing, unsubscribing, etc.

And, as an aside, Microsoft being Microsoft there is a ton of official documentation on using Teams with a screen reader.  All of these come up in the top 10 or so search results from:  https://duckduckgo.com/?q=microsoft+teams+accessibility+screen+reader

Microsoft Teams is quite accessible with screen readers. There are definitely some inconsistencies in its interface but it's quite easy to use once you give it a chance. Its audio is superb and is comparable to Zoom. Microsoft has also been responsive in fixing accessibility-specific issues that I've submitted to them.
